Sounds exactly like it was advertised. Deep rumble!
Seems a bit short on the slip on to the original exhaust. But fits with no leaks. Bolted right up no problem. I get compliments on the looks.

I love the exhaust a lot, looks amazing on the bike. The sound is amazing I am very pleased with it. I got the CBR500R as a starter bike and now with this exhaust makes it a whole lot better. I didn't have an issue with the gasket from stock exhaust since I got the bike in late November wasn't able to ride it whole winter and if you happen to have yours for a while now then I would recommend getting a new gasket for it.

Great Sound, great price

I bought this because I was looking for a slip on that made the 500 sound louder and throatier than the ugly stock exhaust ever could. The hyperlow looks great, and the black matches the grey/black of the bike and sounds awesome, its exactly what I was hoping for. I took both the baffles out so it has great sound. Even with both the baffles out it isn't as loud as I expected but it still has plenty of sound. Th only problems I had was that with the mounting point on the passenger foot peg, the hyperlow didn't slide as far down the tailpipe as the stock so it didn't quite meet up with the ridge that he stock exhaust sits on. The other problem was that the clamp that came with it didn't get tight enough so I had to reuse the stock clamp, which is higher quality anyway, but caused extra headache because I had to remove the exhaust after it was installed. Be sure to get a new gasket too ($13 from Honda) because taking out the stock one is a pain. Overall took less than an hour to install even with the minor coplications.
